Notice Content NEWTON COUNTY, TEXAS NOTICE RFP # 2024-10 Newton County Precinct 4 is taking bid(s) for the resurfacing of approximately 4500 feet of CR 4181. The bid proposal should provide quotes on three options. If you choose to provide less than the three preferred options please do so, stating that you are choosing to only provide bids for Option 1, 2, 3 etc. Prepare to suitable base and apply 2" of oil sand quick set to existing road surface for approximately 4500'. Prepare to suitable base and apply 2" of asphalt to existing road surface for approximately 4500'. Prepare to suitable base and apply 2" of cold seal to existing road surface for approximately 4500'. Requests for Proposals (RFP) must be received in the County Clerk's Office no later than 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Submittals will be opened and scored by a bid selection committee and recommendations will made to the Newton County Commissioners' Court on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, for consideration and award. The RFP (7 copies) must be labeled "Resurfacing CR 4181 RFP 2024-10" and must be delivered to: Ms. Sandra Duckworth, Newton County Clerk 115 Court Street or PO Box 484 Newton, TX 75966 409-379-5341 Newton County reserves the right to accept or reject in part or in whole any RFP submitted, and to waive any technicalities for the best interest of the County.
