Site work and renovation of a civil project in Wilmington, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Price's Run Sewer Interceptor and CSO4AN Rehabilitation project includes the cleaning, repair, and lining of 66-inch and 111-inch sewer mains. The project also includes the structural modification of the CSO4AN Retention Chamber, and work to update electrical equipment and other appurtenances associated with these modifications. This project is funded by the Delaware Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund: therefore, bidders and the successful contractor must comply with the related Program Requirements. Bidders must follow the "Good Faith Efforts" in providing opportunities to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in preparation of their bids and procurement of construction, supplies, and services. This project is subject to State of Delaware Prevailing Wage Rates regulations and the Davis Bacon Wage Rates, whichever is higher. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid is required to be submitted with the bid on this contract. Bidders must also comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
