Scope of work The City of Norwalk is soliciting informal quotes from qualified companies to furnish and install a chain link fence for a dog park. The chain link fence will be installed at an existing park and will be approximately 330 linear feet of 8 ft. fencing and 428 linear feet of 5 ft. fencing with various gates and doors. The work required by this Contract consists of manufacturing, supplying, constructing, installing, and making the fencing operational. The work includes, but is not limited to: clearing and grubbing; protection of existing shrubs and trees; earthwork; concrete foundations for fence posts; chain link fence installation; chain link fabric replacement; tying into existing fencing; and associated site work and permits required to complete the Work. All bids must be dated and signed with the firm's name and by an authorized officer or employee. Bids received after the closing date/time will NOT be considered. The City of Norwalk reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bids. After award, all bids shall be open to public inspection.
