New construction of a communication facility in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a communication facility.
LCRA owns and maintains communications sites throughout Texas for the purpose of providing wireless voice and data services to internal and external customers. Telecom shelters, can also be known as communication shelters, are specifi-cally designed structures that house critical telecommunications equipment and infrastructure. Question Deadline 11/17/2023 at 5:00 PM CT In addition, LCRA maintains a large electrical substation footprint and requires dedicated 12x28 shelter facilities at criti-cal locations for purposes of electric grid telecommunications. Delivery of shelters 10ftx10ft and 12x28 shelters. Shelters must meet all State of Texas design codes and safety regula-tions. Selected shall provide the following services in addition to delivery of a completed shelter for each project where shelter is required: 1. Installation of specified equipment such as generators as instructed in purchase orders and specifications. 2. LCRA will be responsible for offloading shelter from delivery truck to shelter foundation pad at job site. Final installation locations will vary between typical dedicated telecommunications sites such as those leased through American Tower, Crown Castle, and SBA, and electric substations owned by LCRA. Shelters will be delivered to LCRA warehouse in Austin, TX or directly to job sites across Texas.
