Demolition, site work and addition to a civil project in Fort Worth, Texas. Working plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of July 1, 2025, per owner, contract was awarded June 10, 2025, for construction. Construction documents are being executed. Design engineer also identified. The majority of work will consist of water improvements. The Fort Worth Water Department (FWWD) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants for the design and preparation of construction plans and specifications for a 35 MGD expansion to the Eagle Mountain Water Treatment Plant (EMWTP) and associated expansion of the Eagle Mountain Raw Water Pump Station #2 (EMRWPS #2). Request for Proposals from interested and qualified consulting firms or other qualified firms to perform engineering, design, permitting, and professional services as necessary for the expansion of the Eagle Mountain Water Treatment Plant. It is the intention of Fort Worth Water Department that construction should start for the EMWTP 35 MGD Expansion project in the Summer of 2025 (when DWSRF funding becomes available) and be operational prior to the Summer of 2028. A Business Equity project goal 10% has been established for this project. Consultants shall submit their Business Equity utilization plan with their proposal. Failure to submit he Business Equity plan with the proposal will render the proposal non-responsive.
