Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Silverdale, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
Refurbish LAPSC blast doors in rooms 228 (RM 213), 309 (RM 301), 317 (RM 302), 320 (RM 303), 321 (RM 309), and 322 (RM 311). Improvements will consist of: replacing hinges with new design to prevent sagging, converting mechanical locking pin driving mechanisms to hydraulic, modifying locking pins shape and/or size to eliminate pin-to-hole interference, replacing open/close hydraulic rotary motors, after work is complete, reinstallation of existing door grounding / lightning protection, as necessary, and testing to ensure functionality, upgrading door positioning sensor Escorts will be required. Codes Required: B9, S9, and MLA Visitor Badge. Secret clearance will be required for all contractors entering B6500. Contractors need to be cleared and added to EAL for access to lower levels.
