Site work and renovation of a civil project in Correctionville, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The general nature of the public improvement is: The project consists of site utility improvements for Little Sioux Park. Group A will consist of constructing a new gravity sewer main that strategically picks up flow from each of the existing campsites and conveys raw wastewater to satellite lift stations which will pump said flow. Group B will consist of installing a pre-packaged wastewater treatment unit that will treat pumped flow, along with all associated equipment and electrical work. Group C will consist of constructing a lateral absorption field for the dosing of the treated effluent along with associated piping and relevant appurtenances. The work shall commence on the day indicated in the Notice to Proceed and shall be substantially complete on or before May 15, 2024 and completed and ready for final payment on or before June 15, 2024. Should the Contractor fail to complete the work in this timeframe, liquidated damages of $250 per calendar day for substantial completion and $250 per calendar day for final completion will be assessed for work not completed within the designated contract terms.
