Site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a medical facility in Portsmouth, Ohio. Completed plans call for the addition of a medical facility; for the construction of a medical facility; for the renovation of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Project: Additions and Alteration to Medical Office Building for Compass Community Health 1634 Eleventh Street Portsmouth, Ohio 45662 The owner is accepting lump sum bids from contractors. Each bid proposal shall include all labor, materials, and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications as prepared by Randall C. Mullins, Architect. Prior to submitting a proposal, each bidder shall examine and thoroughly familiarize himself with all existing conditions, including all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations that may affect the work. Bidders shall visit the site, examine the grounds, utilities, and roads, and shall ascertain by any reasonable means all conditions that might in any manner affect the work. The drawings have been prepared on the basis of surveys and inspections of the site and are intended to present an essentially accurate indication of the physical conditions at the site. This, however, shall not relieve the bidder of the necessity for fully informing himself as to existing physical conditions. The project is subject to the following special provisions: 1. Owner is a 501C3 Non-Profit organization and is tax exempt. 2. A Performance and Payment Bond is required. 3. Insurance requirements. 4. Construction shall be completed within 365 consecutive calendar days. 5. Project is subject to liquidated damages in the amount of $250 per day for failing to complete the project within the specified time. There will be no Pre-Bid meeting for this rebid. The scope of the Rebid is based upon the following: 1. Breakdown of bids into a Base Bid, Alternate #1, and Alternate #2. a. Base Bid: Pricing for everything except Alternate #1 and Alternate #2 b. Alternate #1: Pricing for the roof replacement on the existing PEMB including all of the accessories (ridge caps, rake trims, gutters, and downspouts). c. Alternate #2: Pricing for the Steel Portico in the playground on the east side of the building including foundations, steel framing, roofing, gutter, downspout, and painting. The posted estimate for the rebid is $2,100,000 and includes the Base Bid, Alternate #1and Alternate #2. Conditional or partial bids will not be accepted. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bids received after the time set will be returned unopened. Bids shall not be modified, withdrawn, or canceled without the Owner's written consent for a period of sixty (60) calendar days commencing from the bid date.
