Per the owner, as of March 5, 2025, this project is 95% percent drawings and they are awaiting 100% design documents from the architect. The owner states that the project is anticipated to advertise for bids on approximately April 1, 2025 and construction is anticipated to begin on June 30, 2025. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............ General Project Description: This project will include stormwater master planning, hydraulic analysis and inspection of existing structures, design for improvements to the drainage system for the entire facility, and building foundation and storm drainage repairs at the Inmate Gymnasium Building. Services will include structural design, hydraulic analysis and design, construction materials testing, and construction observation during repairs. Designers are encouraged to use best practices necessary to minimize site disruption during construction in an active, secure environment. The scope of design services shall include preparation of schematic design and design development documents, construction documents, bidding assistance, and construction contract administration. GDC reserves the right to reject any or all statements of qualifications, and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of GDC. Respondents should be an established firm, licensed to practice engineering or architecture with a principal office in the State of Georgia. Firms having more than one office are requested to submit only the qualifications of the office that would produce the contract documents. Criteria for selection consideration will be based on such factors as organization, design ability, past performance, ability to meet time requirements, budget limitations, and professional experience.
