Asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Waycross, Georgia. Completed plans call for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
Ware County Government is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) soliciting proposals from qualified firms to complete the asbestos abatement in abandoned Ware County office building referred to as the old Ware County IT Building. Asbestos assessment has been completed to identify the Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACMs) present at the old Ware County IT Building. A copy of the asbestos assessment report [Preston Geotechnical Consultants, LLC report dated June 13, 2023] is attached to and is/becomes a part of this RFP. 805 Grove Street, Waycross, Georgia 31501 Please see Appendix 4.2 of Preston Geotechnical Consultant's asbestos assessment report for a diagram of the Old Ware County IT Building site with asbestos homogeneous area locations. Ware County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all bids.
