Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Portland, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: Baseball / Softball Replacement Field with synthetic turf, digital scoreboards, sunken dugouts, a Memorial Entry Tower, field Press Boxes, Concession / Restroom facility, permanent Grand Stands with chair back seating and aluminum bleacher seating and with a canopy shade structure. Associated site and utility work will be required to accommodate the new additions. B. Type of Contract: Project will be constructed under a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) contract Baseball & Softball Replacement Fields - Site Demolition / Site Development Package. Weaver & Jacobs Constructors, Inc. intends to subcontract with companies to provide Construction Services for the furnishing, fabrication, construction,and/orinstallation of the scope of work outlined in the construction documents. The work includes but is not limited to site demo,earthwork, site utilities,concrete,masonry, structural steel, rough carpentry, joint sealants, painting,athletic equipment, mechanical/electrical/plumbing, special systems, artificial turf, fencing and gates, landscape and irrigation, and all related workas defined by the documents included herein. **For the earthwork scope of work, we are asking for only the fields to be figured at this time. The architect and engineers for this project want the area to meet the requirements for the 1" PVR for that area. Also, note that you are to only do the work under the geomembrane liner for the baseball and softball fields; the turf provider will take it from there.
