Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and residential development.

The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency and its constituent entities (SHRA) is seeking architectural firms to provide architectural / engineering services for the renovation of single-family and multi-family residential, small commercial and historically significant projects. The projects are located throughout the City and County of Sacramento. SHRA is developing separate lists of the most qualified architectural firms to provide architectural / engineering services for each of the following project types: single-family residences, multi-family residences, and small commercial projects. Within the list for each project type, it will be noted which firms have experience with historically significant buildings of that type. Firms may be qualified for one list or multiple lists. SHRA will rotate through each appropriate list, contacting consecutive individual firms for fee proposals for the various projects. If a reasonable fee can be negotiated for a particular project, then a contract will be executed for that project. If a reasonable fee cannot be negotiated, then SHRA will go to the next firm on the list. If a project requires experience with buildings of historical significance, then the next firm on the list with the appropriate qualifications will be contacted. The list will be maintained for five (5) years. It is the intent of SHRA to use the list as the primary source for architectural / engineering services for the single-family residential, multi-family residential, and small commercial. No vendor will be issued contracts totaling more than $750,000 in one year. However, SHRA reserves the right to solicit competitive proposals for any and all projects. Architects are expected to hire sub-consultants to complete design services. Architects must provide a list of preferred sub-consultants used for the project. This includes ( but not limited) to MEP, Fire Alarm, Structural and Civil Engineering consultants. Refer to Selection process of the RFQ for complete list of information required to be submitted in your proposal. The Agency strongly encourages participation by local qualified firms and organizations in all aspects of contracting. The Agency actively encourages participation of Small Business Enterprises (SBE), Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE), and Section 3 businesses in all aspects of contracting. The Agency has the full and absolute discretion, to issue a contract for up to five (5) years. If the initial contract term is less than five (5) years, any additional periods are at the sole discretion of THE AGENCY based on the contractor's performance and the Agency's needs. All questions, requests for clarification, and submittal procedures, requirements and selection procedures concerning this RFQ are to be submitted no later than 10:00 am on Friday, December 1, 2023, via online . Written replies to all inquiries will be posted in online . If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFQ, an addendum to the RFQ will be issued via online no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, December 4, 2023. The Agency reserves the right to contract with any firm, whether included on the Qualified List or not, and to assign cases by Specialty Area to only one firm even if there are other firms on the Qualified List with the same specialty, in order to meet the needs of the Agency.
