THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF PLAINFIELD REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR APARTMENT REPAIRS The Housing Authority of Plainfield is requesting proposals for repairs by licensed contractors when the apartments need repairs in the two housing complexes; Joanne Hollis Gardens and Richmond Towers which are owned and managed by the Authority. Please refer to the prevailing wage rate of New Jersey for the labor costs for the repair work of various items inside the apartment. Work shall include materials and labor for the repairs. The amount of the services contract shall not exceed $100,000 per year. Any interested and qualified individual or company requires experience and knowledge in the vacant or occupied apartment repair work associated with the public housing or subsidized housing in the State of New Jersey. Contractors shall be certified by the State of New Jersey and possess all the current liability insurance including workers compensation insurance which are required to be attached in the proposal package. The Housing Authority of Plainfield reserves the right to choose the best qualified individuals or companies at a reasonable cost for the Apartment Repair services. The Housing Authority is required to comply with the requirement of PL 1975 C.127. Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Law in accordance with the applicable state and federal regulations
