As of December 7th, 2023 this - this project has been cancelled. Parking Garage Electrical Rehabilitation Contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. This project involves the replacement of conduit, wiring, receptacles, and lighting fixtures at the Borough's parking garage at 100-192 E. Linden Street. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids. Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project. Provide labor, materials, tools, machinery, equipment appliances, fixtures, devices, and services necessary to complete specified electrical work within this scope. The job site consists only in the Borough parking lot structure as identified in the 1998 plans. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, which must be paid to workmen employed on this project.
