Hawthorn School District 73, Lake County, IL, will receive sealed bids from interested trade contractors for work for Hawthorn School District 73 - Building Automation System Upgrades (Aspen Elementary, District 73 Office, Hawthorn Townline Elementary, Middle School North). Trade Packages include: 23D-1 Building Automation System. If Hand Delivering on the submission date: Hawthorn Middle School South 600 North Aspen Drive Vernon Hills, IL 60061 Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope and labeled "Hawthorn School District 73 - Building Automation System Upgrades (Aspen Elementary, District 73 Office, Hawthorn Townline Elementary, Middle School North)", the Date and Time of the Bid Opening, the Contractor's Name and Address, and their Trade Package. All Contractors shall use the Bid Day Label provided with their Bid Form. The project includes building automation system upgrades at Aspen Elementary, District 73 Office, Hawthorn Townline Elementary, Middle School North. All Contractors interested in bidding on this project must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last year. Contractors qualification statements are due in Lamp Incorporateds office by 5:00 P.M., Monday, November 27, 2023. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the proposal. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of the award of the contract. All Performance and Payment Bonds will be in accordance with the requirements stated in the AIA 232 General Conditions. Payment of Prevailing Wages are required for this project. This Project is Tax Exempt. The Board of Education of Hawthorn School District 73 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities. Bidders failing to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the project and the existing conditions at the scope review may be rejected.
