Site work for a water / sewer project in McKenzie, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of january 11, 2024 project is on hold no definite date for the rebid. This project consists of the rehabilitation of existing sewer lines using pipe bursting, point repairs and manhole rehab. Smoke testing is also a part of this project. 2022 Sewer System Rehabilitations Contract B Bids from anyone not on the Engineer's Plan Holders List will not be opened. Anyone bidding the project must purchase a complete set of documents from the Engineer. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids. The allotted time for construction is 120 calendar days.
