To Furnish, Deliver, & Install Hallowell Rivetwell Shelving Units (or equivalent) for the Essex County Records Center. It is understood that the attached general specifications are an integral part of the Bid and that the County reserves the right to reject any or all bid Bids pursuant to Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. and to waive immaterial defects. Bidders are required to comply with the requirement of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq. and the Americans with Disabilities Act and N.J.A.C. 17:27. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Office of Purchasing via fax to 973-621-5109, no later than the end of business, eight (8) business days prior to the deadline for submission of bids. The County of Essex shall award the contract or reject all bids within such time as may be specified in the invitation to bid, but in no case more than sixty (60) days, except that the bids of any bidders who consent thereto may, at the request of the County, be held for consideration for such longer period as may be agreed (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-24). The contract is for a one (1) year open-ended contract with a one (1) year optional extension. Contract will start after notice to proceed. 2. All vendors bidding on this solicitation must be responsible solely for all tasks outlined in this specification, no subcontractors or outside agents are permitted. 3.
