The Project is located at various citywide locations, and is described as follows: Reconstruction of damaged curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and driveway approaches, replacement of asphalt pavement, installation of pedestrian curb ramps, removal of trees and tree stumps, root pruning and crown thinning of trees, furnishing and planting new street trees, pavement striping and markings, and other related work. The project also includes the installation of a bikeway path, concrete barriers, and flexible bollards. Time for Completion. The planned timeframe for commencement and completion of construction of the Project is: 150 Working Days License and Registration Requirements. License. This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): Class A. Contractors bidding as a joint venture must secure a joint venture license prior to award of the Contract for the Project. DIR Registration. City may not accept a Bid Proposal from, or enter into the Contract with, a bidder without proof that the bidder is registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") to perform public work under Labor Code Section 1725.5, subject to limited legal exceptions. Performance and Payment Bonds. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the Contract Price. Bid Security.
