Site work for a civil project in Atkins, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the construction of a metering and pressure reducing valve addition at the Atkins Water Treatment Plant. The attention of the Bidder is directed to the applicable federal and state requirements and conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract. Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203 The City of Atkins encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, The City of Atkins encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed beyond 90 days from the bid opening date.
