Site work for an educational facility in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Working plans call for site work for a educational facility.
PROJECT HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING BIDS. The project consists of but is not limited to: Installation of an approximately 100' long by 6'3" tall sign on top of the existing video board in the South End Zone. The new lighted sign will be mounted on a new structural steel truss system mounted to the existing concrete columns. Bids will be received for a stipulated sum contract. Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which Owner will sustain by failure, neglect, or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents or furnish the required 100% Contract Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. The Board of Regents, State of Iowa seeks to provide opportunities for Targeted Small Businesses in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 73 of the Code of Iowa. This project has a participation goal for certified Targeted Small Businesses. The participation goal of 10% is specified in the Special Conditions. The Board of Regents, State of Iowa reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept that bid which is deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
