Reconstruction of Kenneth Road bridge over Negro Creek. The existing bridge, built in 1910, is past its useful life, and identified as a priority for reconstruction. This will be a joint project with the City of Leawood and will be administered by Overland Park. This project is included in the City of Overland Park's FY 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. As of September 18, 2024, information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
