Access Control and Secuirty Systems Upgrade - Phase 3 at Various Buildings, Ottawa, Ontario The Scope of Work generally includes the upgrades to the access control and security systems at various buildings within Ottawa, as further defined in the attached specification and floorplans by Ottawa Community Housing. Respondents shall provide a design and implementation that is fully compliant with all aspects of the ESS Design Guide, latest version. The scope of work generally includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Investigates to determine cable runs and placement. All aspects of Design and Build, project management, supervision, procurement of materials and equipment, labor, all job-related incidental work, and the securing of all required permits, notifications, and/or inspections, including fees for such permits, notifications, and/or inspections, shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor. 2. Replacing the current video camera infrastructure systems, replacing access control systems, adding new wireless infrastructure, cabling to support the video and access control equipment, as well as new potential services such as Internet of Things ('loT') devices and wireless access services, with a fully complete and ready to operate solution all locations identified in Appendix A. 3. Design and Build services required to connect and centralize various components from locations identified in Appendix A, into a read to operate enterprise level centralized management and display system. The centralized system will include multi-platform access management software to display system status, door status, simple access programming capabilities, remote programming, scheduling, locking and unlocking.
