Project was awarded to East Texas Crush Rock for $9.25/yard. The City of Altus, herein after called the "City," is seeking bids to grind approximately 20,000-30,000 yards of existing concrete on site to flowing specifications. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to study all bids for thirty (30) days prior to bid award. The City reserves the right to award this bid in whole or in part as deemed in the best interest of the City. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours before the time set for opening of bids, or any bid received after the time set for the opening of bids, shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened. The City does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, veteran status or handicap status, in; employment decisions, the procurement of services, the selection of suppliers or awarding of bids and/or contracts. Award shall be based on a determination of the lowest qualified bid. "Qualified" is a determination by the City regarding the capability of the bidder to perform the work in good faith, with integrity and reliability as well as the materiality of the bidder's errors, omissions, or exceptions (if any). The City of Altus, OK is currently seeking bids for the crushing of concrete (app. 20,000 to 30,000 yds) to the following specifications. 1. Crush all concrete on site to 1 1/2 " minus gravel. 2. Separate 95% of wire and 98% of rebar out of concrete. 3. Gravel, wire and rebar will be stock piled separately. 4. A binding agent consisting of 5% dirt/clay mixture should be added to gravel. 5.
