Printed copies are not available from the Owner or Architect, but arrangements can be made to obtain printed Bid Documents through most reprographic firms. Bidders are responsible for any subscription, downloading, reproduction or mailing costs. Bids shall be accepted only from Contractors who are licensed under LS R.S. 37:2150- 2163 for the classification of Building Construction No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. Evidence of authority to submit the bid shall be required in accordance with LA. R.S. 38:2212 (B) (2), (5) and/or LA. R.S. 39:1594 (C) (4). Free registration is required in order to submit a bid via the Central Bidding website. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause as permitted by LA. R.S. 38:2214 (B). The ability of an entity to reject any bid is applicable only when administered in accordance with the Public Bid Law. In accordance with LA. R.S. 38:2212 (B) (1), the provisions and requirements of this section, and those stated in the Bidding Documents shall not be waived by any public entity.
