Repair Fiberglass Tank Modify Fiberglass Tank Bottom Remove false bottom and foam insulation. Apply new coating to tank interior surfaces. The vendor will provide services Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM located at multiple locations to repair and/or modify fiber glass steel tanks whose purpose is to store chemicals such as 12% or higher percentage sodium hypochlorite solution, caustic soda, or other chemicals. This contract specifies some of the materials to be used for tank repair and modification. The City of Seattle will provide a job-specific scope, location and contact information by individual work orders. The vendor's bid will include documentation that the material the vendor proposes to use meets the specifications in this contract. Vendors proposing to use materials that require the authorization from the manufacturers of those materials will provide a current, dated, and signed authorization from the manufacturer that the Vendor is an authorized distributor, dealer, or service representative and is authorized to sell the manufacturer's products. The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to solicit bids from interested and qualified Suppliers for fiberglass tank repair and improvement services.
