The VA Long Beach Healthcare System located at 5901 East 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822 has 11 facility improvement projects. These projects will be referred to as IAP Small Projects #2 (Project No. 600-23-119) throughout this scope. Construction services are required to improve staff and patient restrooms, clinical workspaces, patient privacy, research facility physical security, staff and patient transportation across campus. To achieve this, it includes but is not limited to; ceiling, wall partitions, dry wall, patch & paint, door framing, electrical, HVAC duct work, data, lighting, asbestos abatement, flooring, plumbing, concrete demo & install, IT/Telco for below locations at VA Long Beach Health Care System. This requirement is classified under construction as it calls for the alteration or modification of real property. Work will be performed in a functioning hospital environment. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, training, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to accomplish the work. The work includes, but is not limited to general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary for completion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and drawings (when available) of the solicitation and all applicable local and VA building codes.
