Renovation of a residential development in Long Beach, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Provide all labor, materials, equipment for the replacement of existing floors, pre-paint repairs, interior and exterior painting, replacing existing backpack hooks and installation of all new backpack hooks at all classrooms, other finish upgrades, installation of new Extron system, structured cabling upgrades, new blinds, and interior lighting upgrades. Each bidder shall possess a valid B license at the time of bid submission and be registered with the DIR The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: New Aquatic Center for the Existing Woodrow Wilson High Campus. 1. In kind (like for like) replacement of HVAC system in all permanent classrooms, offices and support spaces (including Auditorium, Cafeteria and Kitchen) located in permanent buildings on site. 2. New projectors, projector screens and markerboards in classrooms. 3. New electrical and data outlets as required. 4. Interior lighting upgrades to all permanent buildings on site. 5. Interior and exterior paint for all permanent buildings. 6. Replace window shades. 7. Replace ceiling tiles as necessary; the existing ceiling grid shall not be modified. 8. In kind (like for like) replacement of floor finish; flooring type shall not change. 9. Demolition as required. NOTE: Pushing the submit button on the electronic system may not be instantaneous and may take time for the Bidders documents to upload and transmit before the Bid is accepted. - It is the Bidder's sole responsibility to ensure their document(s) are uploaded, transmitted, and arrive in time electronically. - Once a Bidder's Bid is successfully uploaded to the Online Vendor Portal, the Bidder will receive a five (5) digit VBID electronic confirmation number. This number should be recorded as proof of submission of your bid. If the Bidder does not receive an electronic confirmation "VBID" number, the Bidder's upload was not successful or was electronically received after the Bid date / time. - The District is not responsible for Bids that are received after the deadline noted above. In the event of a conflict between any of the provisions of the Online Vendor Portal and the Contract Documents, the provisions in the Contract Documents shall control. - Bidders are required to upload the mandatory bid submission forms in the bid document. Missing documents may cause your bid to be deemed non-responsive. 3. The Projects consists of: Provide all labor, materials, equipment and associated work for the removal and replacement irrigation, irrigation wires and landscape at Hamilton Middle School and Robinson K-8 School. 4. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the Instructions to Bidders. 5. License Requirement(s). To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: B. The Bidder's license(s) must be active and in good standing at the time of the bid opening and must remain so throughout the term of the Contract.
