As of January 16, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project entails the provisions and installation of a new HVAC BAS electric/computer Control System (a/k/a BMS. BAS, etc.), to replace the existing HVAC BAS Control System at the premises located at 108 Notch Road, Bolton CT.The scope of Work for the Project will include all materials, labor, services, equipment, systems and machinery described in, and as may be reasonably inferable from the Bidding Documents. Generally, the work will include providing a new BAS electric/computer Control System (a/k/a, BMS, BAS, etc.) to replace the existing system. This RFP is for Phase I of a multi-phase project. Each phase will be bid separately and the award of one phase to a bidder has no bearing on the award of subsequent phases. HVAC Building Automation Systems Upgrades Question Deadline 12/05/2023 at 3:00 PM ET Any ambiguities or inconsistencies in the Bidding Documents of which a Bidder becomes aware and all requests for clarification and interpretation of Bidding Documents shall be emailed to the John Butrymovich at jbutrymovich@boltonct.gov Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid except as otherwise expressly provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full amount of the agreed contract price. Bidders are advised that a good faith effort is required for participation in this contract by Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and Minority Business Enterprises (MBE). The SBE goal is twenty-five (25) percent of the contract value, with twenty-five (25) percent of that amount (6.25 percent of the overall project) as the MBE goal.
