Project will be rebid but no definite date yet.** Project No: 2022-006 The project is a neighborhood storm drainage improvement project and primarily consists of approximately 2,800 linear feet of Storm Drainage pipes ranging between 30-inch diameter to 18-inch diameter HDPE and RCP along with concrete storm structures, curbing and asphalt replacement, and other miscellaneous appurtenances as shown on the plans or specified in the contract documents. Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from OWNER. This contract is funded by CDBG No.#21p-x-043-2-6178. This is a Section 3 Covered Project under the HUD Act of 1968 and Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns are encouraged to apply - a required Pre- Bid Meeting will be held in which Section 3 preferences and compliance will be discussed in detail. OWNER requires a bid bond* or a certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid to be enclosed with the bid at the time of bid opening. Cashier's check will be made payable to City of Bainbridge. The successful bidder will be required to furnish OWNER with Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds* in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total bid. OWNER reserves the rights to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids, to evaluate Bids, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the OWNER. No Bid will be rejected without just cause. Successful Bidder will be required to perform WORK as the Prime Contractor. WORK performed by Prime Contractor shall be 51% minimum. Qualified Contractor must have prior successful similar-type construction experience.
