Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a civil project in Fort Benning, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

This project will replace the traffic control NEMA cabinets, traffic signal controllers, traffic surveillance video cameras, the Malfunction Management Units (MMU), and all plug-ins (load switches, flashers, flash transfer relay, detectors, surge protection) needed to run the intersection around Main Post. Five intersections have been selected for this project. The locations are Marne Road and B9220 Access Road, Marne Road and Lindsey Creek Pkwy, Marne Road and Bass Road, Marne Road and Van Aalst Blvd, and Custer Road and Fort Moore Road. Contractor shall provide and install new hybrid NEMA cabinets (Hybrid Rack Mount NEMA 332 Cabinet or equal), traffic light controllers (Cobalt rackmount controller or equal), traffic surveillance video cameras (Auto-scope "Vision" 4 camera system or equal), MMUs and all plug-ins in those five intersection locations. The project shall include all necessary equipment (hardware) and software required to replace existing traffic signal system located at the selected intersections around Main Post. Contractor shall perform the following tasks: (1) mobilization, (2) removal of signal equipment, as needed, (3) furnishing and installing required signal equipment, (4) required traffic signal controller and cabinet upgrades, (5) required video detection system upgrades, (6) replace existing concrete slab with new precast concrete slab to house the traffic signal controller and the UPS enclosure, (7) provide and install emergency preemption capability on each traffic light in this project, (8) submit traffic control safety plans for construction, and (9) provide on-site technical support as well as intersection management support for traffic patterns and optimal flow (such as signal operation and phasing, signal interconnect and coordination, and signal timing). Coordinate intersection management support with TIYA traffic support personnel. The contractor shall comply with all governing codes and standards. Contractor shall comply with Fort Moore Safety and Environmental laws and regulations. The contractor shall perform all work IAW government procedures for entering and working at Fort Moore. The government reserves the right to stop work at any time for safety, security reasons, and for national defense at no cost to the government. Contractor shall coordinate with MP traffic control representative prior to and during the construction. Contractor shall coordinate with DPW and TIYA for any traffic control assistance
