Site work for a water / sewer project in Ore City, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project will consist of constructing approximately 2,370 LF of 6 and 8 water main, 1,155 LF of 8 sanitary sewer and related work and appurtenances. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Ore City, Texas or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Ore City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project.
