Reference number : 1781088 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2023-12-04 Université du Québec à Montréal is calling for tenders for the replacement of the escalator in the Pavilion J.-A.-DeSève (DS), located at 320 Sainte-Catherine Street East, Montreal, H2X 1L7. The Contractor will be responsible for the supply and installation of the staircase as well as the rest of the work. The replacement of the escalator in the DS pavilion will include the related work of temporary protection, demolition of existing facilities, handling, development, installation and dismantling of the temporary lifting system, architecture, electricity, fire protection, patching, etc. The Contractor will be fully responsible for controlling access to the site and the construction site. In situations where the Contractor must perform work elsewhere in the building or in cases where it is necessary to make electromechanical service cuts, it will do so outside the normal hours of occupancy by users, according to the Owner's authorizations. Finally, the Contractor will have full responsibility for the safety and temporary protection of the site. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
