Site work for a water / sewer project in Thiensville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project involves installation of 3 sanitary sewage sump crock & grinder pumps, 2-inch pressure pipe lateral extending through the existing 4- inch lateral, & basement floor restoration. This Work is funded in whole or in part by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District's Private Property Infiltration and Inflow Program. Awarded Contractor must be an MMSD approved Contractor. All Work is included in a single prime contract. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Village of Thiensville and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Thiensville reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Work items shall include costs for the following, unless there is a separate bid item: Excavation, subsurface exploration for existing utilities, removal and disposal of excavated material, bracing, dewatering, bedding, pipe fittings, connecting to existing system, cover, insulation, adjustment of structures, backfill, compaction, traffic control, trench maintenance, and surface restoration.
