Removal and Replacement of Roofs at Admin and Dryer Buildings at WWTP o Complete tear off to existing deck. o Remove flashing from the walls. o Dispose of all trash, debris, and old roof materials. o Install 1.5" continuous insulation attached to deck. Tapered insulation is acceptable where needed to achieve adequate slope for positive drainage. o Install new tapered crickets between scuppers. o Install a 60 mil TPO roof membrane secured as specified on plans. o Install TPO flashing up and over top of walls. o Install TPO coated metal scuppers o Install wood nailers on top of walls o Install 24 gage coping cap at walls. Color will be selected by owner. o Remove and reinstall existing heads and down spouts as needed. o Furnish a certified 20-year manufacturer's warranty and a minimum 2 year workmanship warranty Each Bid MUST be accompanied by certified check of the bidder, or a bid bond prepared on the Form of Bid Bond attached hereto, duly executed by the bidder as principal and having the surety thereon, a surety company approved by the Owner (City of Sumter), in the amount of 5% of the bid. Such checks, or bid bonds will be returned to all EXCEPT the three lowest bidders within three business days after the opening of bids, and the remaining cash, checks, or bid bonds will be returned promptly after the Owner and the accepted bidder have executed the contract, or if no award has been made within 60 days after the date of the opening of the bids, upon demand of the bidder at any time thereafter, so long as he has not been notified of the acceptance of his bid. Please do not submit cash as security. If the Contractor's work as set forth in the Scope of Work exceeds $50,000.00, Contractor shall provide payment and performance bonds in the full amount of the Contract Sum.
