Village Green Phase III Improvement Project. A Bid Security is required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000.00, in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check, made payable to the City of Summit. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of any and all applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulations and requirements, including but not limited to: N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. (Prevailing Wage Act); N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (Statement of Ownership Disclosure); N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Affirmative Action); N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration), and the City's adopted minimum standard insurance requirements. The Common Council reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals, waive any minor defects, and consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. No charge shall be made or recovery had for publishing any official advertising unaccompanied by such statement of price.
