Replace heating boilers, distribution pumps, expansion tank, air separator, and all associated piping as noted on the plans. Include all associated electrical work, controls and work associated with roof repairs. Bids will be taken on a lump sum basis as defined on the Bid Form. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount. 100% Surety Bonds for performance and payment of labor and materials are required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularity in the bidding or the bidding process and accept the bid that is most advantageous to the Owner. A. The project includes all material, labor, tools, equipment, field engineering, and appurtenances necessary to complete all work as identified in the Drawings and further defined in these Specifications. This includes all items not specifically mentioned, but incidental to the work to provide a complete and operational product. C. Work is described as Including, but not limited to: Replace the three existing 750 MBH input heating water boilers with two new 1,500 MBH high-efficient, sealed combustion heating water boilers. Install new boiler circulation pumps, heating water distribution pumps with inverter duty motor and grounded shaft bearings, variable speed drives, new expansion tank, new air separator, new hydronic piping as indicated on the plans, new gas piping, and electrical to support the new work. New controller and controls components for the new heating plant, as well as a new building server shall be installed and integrated with the Building Automated Controls system installed in 2021 at the other school buildings.
