Site work, paving, asbestos abatement and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Goshen, New York. Completed plans call for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for asbestos abatement for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of April 2, 2024, construction commenced yesterday and all trades have been awarded. The scope of Bid Package #1 is an early package to make the site ready for the Bid Package # 2 Main Building and includes hazardous material abatement, demolition, and disposal of (8) existing structures, and related utility infrastructure. Site demolition work includes the felling and removal of trees, site cut and fill, clearing and grubbing and demolition of existing utilities. Site infrastructure work includes active utility relocations, installation of a Stormwater Basin, and installation of water lines for use during construction. All activities are to be coordinated with the sediment and erosion control plan. Additionally, the work includes finish grading and seeding, the installation of a temporary asphalt parking area and associated temporary lighting, installation of owner furnished electrical equipment as well as the procurement and installation of the DASNY/CM field offices and related utilities. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
