Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Hazard, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Contractors will be responsible for DSSURSULDWH ÀOLQJ RI notices and/or permits, demolition of structures, appropriate removal and disposal of debris and hazardous materials, compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations, and other DFWLYLWLHV DV LGHQWLÀHG in the Scope of Work in the bid application packet. Applicants are required to furnish evidence of Workmans Compensation Coverage, Comprehensive Public Liability Insurance Coverage, and Bonding as required by Federal Regulations and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Applicants must provide work references and be eligible to participate in Federal and State projects. Contractors are required to attend a scheduled pre-bid meeting prior to submitting a bid. Details for this meeting can be found in the bid application packet. Local, small, and minority- and women-owned businesses are encouraged to apply. Funding for these demolition and clearance activities in Perry County will be provided through Federal funds under the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program through Kentucky Emergency Management, as awarded to the Perry County Fiscal Court. Contractors will be required to meet Federal program requirements. Davis Bacon Wage Rates do not apply.
