Maryville R-II School District, Maryville, Missouri, will be selecting a company for synthetic sport turf base installation. This is a prevailing wage project if the total project cost is more than $75,000. The intent of the RFP is to select a synthetic turf base contractor for utilization by the District for the project. Depending on the outcome of the RFP scoring, the intent is to choose a single contractor for use on the project. The goal is to establish the quality and performance criteria and associated cost of this portion of the project as the lowest bidder may not necessarily provide the best product and installation for this key specialty scope of the project. This selection and scoring process will allow for competition between vendors for the work without the use of a proprietary specification in the bid documents. The contract terms and payment process will be for the installation of the synthetic turf base construction as outlined in the drawings and specifications and contracted directly with the School District using Cooperative purchasing agreements. The pricing that the vendor submits to Maryville School District with this RFP is intended to be utilized by the District for the completion of the respective project.
