Award: Atomic Heating and Air, LLC for $28,301.82. Aiken County Government is soliciting sealed bids to remove and replace two (2) HVAC rooftop units at the Nancy Carson Library located at 135 Edgefield Rd North Augusta, 29841. Questions will be received via email only to procurement@aikencountysc.gov before 3:00 p.m. November 30, 2023. The questions and answers (Q & A) will be posted to the Aiken County website before 5:00 p.m. December 4, 2023. Phone calls will not be accepted. Restrictions: Contractor needs to work within the property boundaries and right - of-wayat an occupied public building. As previously stated, this public facility will remain open. Coordination shall be through the office of Aiken County Buildings and Grounds Supervisor, Darrin Tanton. Safety: Contractor shall provide all needed barricades and signs for safety. Dust curtains may be required in some areas, tarps for covering. Contractor shall remove trash and debris, vacuum and clean as needed in work area daily. Damage to Property: Contractor shall be responsible for, and immediately take action to repair or replace, any damage adjacent to existing owner property for any reason. Utilities: Owner utilities will be provided from nearest available location, with no modification from owner or cost thereof to extend them closer to the work area. Any cost related to providing or extending additional utilities shall be at the expense of the contractor. Time of Start and Completion: This project will take no more than two weeks after start date with a 10% charge each day after the fourteenth day. To be deducted from final payment.
