Site work for a civil project in New Albany, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline; and road / highway.
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of City of New Albany will consider Sealed Bid(s), for the above designated construction project, and the award, if made, will be at the best value to the government and City of New Albany residents. Scope of work for this project shall include, but not be limited to the following: 6" HDPE Gas Main (Open Cut) 2,978 L.F. 6" HDD Bore 2,254 L.F. Road Crossing 62 L.F. 6" Gas Valve 1 EA Vent Stack 2 EA Clearing & Grubbing, 20' Width 100 L.F. Seeding & Mulching 5,018 S.Y. Temporary Silt Fence 510 L.F. Pressure Testing 1 L.S. Pressurize New 6" Main 1 L.S. Blowdown, Cut & Cap 1 L.S. Pipeline Markers 18 EA Should no award be made within Sixty (60) calendar days after opening of bids, all bids may be rejected and all bid guaranties returned. Question Deadline 12/01/2023 at 5:00 PM CT Any questions regarding the Bid Form and/or Contract Documents, outlining the Terms & Conditions, shall be submitted in writing to William Denton, at wdenton@nalgw.com. It is expected of each prospective bidder to visit the site prior to submitting a bid. Any questions or inspection requests submitted after the established deadline will not receive a response. Contract time allotted for the completion of this project shall be 45 Calendar Days. Contractor shall commence work on or before the date stipulated as the Notice To Proceed date. A Bid bond, signed or countersigned by a Mississippi Resident Agent or Mississippi Non-Resident Agent licensed to do business in the State of Mississippi, with Power of Attorney attached, or Cashier's check or Certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid, payable to The City of New Albany, must accompany each bid. The City of New Albany reserves the right to reject any/all Bids, and to make an award in any manner, consistent with Mississippi Law, deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
