The purpose of this Request is to solicit sealed, separate Bid Proposals to provide the below listed services and/or miscellaneous materials to the City of New Albany, Mississippi. Proposers who are selected, and awarded a contract, will provide services and/or materials to carry out City maintenance, repair, and construction activities, required during times, in which, there is insufficient time for the City to acquire appropriate quotes, or bids, as required by MS law: 1. Asphalt Paving Services 2. Asphalt Surface Treatments & Microsurfacing Services The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of City of New Albany will consider Bid Proposals, for the above mentioned services and/or materials, and the award, if made, will be at the lowest and best value to the government and City of New Albany residents. The term for City Service contracts will be April 2nd, 2024 through December 31st, 2024. Any questions regarding the Bid Proposal Form(s) and/or Contract Documents, outlining the Terms & Conditions, shall be submitted in writing to William Denton, at the above designated e-mail address. The deadline for submitting inquiries is March 5th, 2024, at 5:00 PM. Any questions submitted after the established deadline will not receive a response. All Proposals must be completed and submitted in accordance with the "INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS", included in the Bid Packet. The City of New Albany reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, and to make an award in any manner consistent with Mississippi Law, that is deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
