Lewis County has been purchasing historic buildings with the goal of creating a "County Campus" downtown Chehalis, with the intent of better consolidating County Government buildings and staff to improve accessibility while rejuvenating the Historic Downtown area. This plan when executed will provide a closely knit series of county owned and operated facilities, that provide a central hub, allowing Lewis County citizens to find and access a majority of County services within walking distance of each other. Lewis County has assumed the role of General Contractor, overseeing any and all 3rd party vendors utilized in the preservation/rejuvenation of these historic buildings. Lewis county is lookin for the help of local trade specific vendors to make this goal a reality. By utilizing the skillset of the best tradesman available, we can oversee these projects, while ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship and quality, while simultaneously leveraging construction funds for the greatest result possible. Install 5/8" sheetrock on all interior walls and ceilings as indicated in the plans. Vendor to ensure all walls are flat and of the same plane. Vendor to shim where needed. All corner beads to be vinyl as indicated in the manual. Walls to be taped and mudded to achieve a smooth wall finish. Install sheetrock and finish per attached drawings and specifications. Please refer to Volume 1 of the manual for all specs, details, approved products, installation process, and quality standards. Volume 1 of the construction manual is the standard. Scope: Install 5/8" Type X sheetrock on all walls and ceilings as indicated in the plans. Vendor to ensure all walls are flat and of the same plane. Vendor to shim where needed. All corner beads to be vinyl as indicated in the manual. Walls to be taped and mudded to achieve a level 4 smooth wall finish. Vendor to install sound board for sound attenuation behind sheetrock where indicated. SOUND BOARD PROVIDED BY COUNTY Vendor to install sheetrock on radiused bulkhead over reception counter. General Info: All walls 10 foot high. Bathrooms 106-110 and PB Hard Lid ceilings at 8'. Janitorial Closet 111 and Caregiver Room 112 Hard Lid ceilings at 8' Shower Room 118A Hard Lid at 8' Prime all Sheetrock Surfaces Job Site Climatization: Lewis County will (2) 220 electric heaters on site. It is the vendors responsibility to ensure proper climatization, should the county provided heaters not be sufficient. Vendor to prime all sheetrock surfaces to ensure quality control standards are met. Vendor to keep jobsite clean and organized at all times. Vendor to remove trash and debris daily. Vendor responsible to return job site in condition received. Vendor to ensure all windows, and metal storefront casings are protected. Vendor to keep drywall debris and mud off floors. Vendor is responsible for all Materials, Tools, Equipment, and Labor necessary to complete project. Project must be completed within 14 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is given by the owner.
