The City of Dalton requests proposals from qualified and professional contractors to furnish all labor, materials, and other necessary resources to perform all required work necessary to install wiring, connections and all necessary infrastructure for various camera, access control and other associated network upgrades at Dalton City Hall and Dalton Police Department. This work must be performed in accordance with the specifications contained in the Request for Proposals (RFP) and outlined during the required site meeting. All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing via email by the questions deadline of 3:00 PM EST December 1, 2023. CONSTRUCTION SITE(S): The real property upon which the project shall be constructed is located at 300 W. Waugh St. and 301 Jones St. Dalton, GA 30720, Thank you for your interest in bidding on this project, which is being undertaken by the Public Building Commission of Chicago. The Public Building Commission of Chicago (hereafter, the PBC, or Commission) is a municipal corporation with a statutory mandate to procure and award contracts for the construction of public buildings in the City of Chicago, and to oversee the construction of those public buildings until they are turned over to the user agency that will own and operate each new facility. This is the first page of text of Book 1, which along with Book 2, Book 3, and the project drawings, comprise the PBC's construction contract. The balance of this Book 1 provides a brief description of the project, instructions for completing and submitting your bid, the bid pages, and the forms which must accompany your bid. Book 2 is the Standard Terms and Conditions of the contract. Book 3 is the Technical Specifications for the work to be performed on this project. The architect or engineer for the project will provide the drawings and other documents that may be necessary for you to bid on and/or perform the work. Each of the Books, along with the drawings and any other documents prepared by the architect or engineer, are Contract Documents. Collectively, the Contract Documents comprise the Contract. The Contract Documents are defined in Section 1 of Book 2, Standard Terms and Conditions.
