Roane County is inviting sealed bids for the clean-up of four (4) nuisance properties. Each property has a court order with descriptions of all items to be addressed to bring into compliance with Codes and Zoning. All bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976, as currently amended if bid price exceeds $25,000. If bidding over $25,000 a 5% bid bond is required. Roane County Government hereby notifies all bidders, that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the basis of age, race, color, religion, national origin, sex or disability in consideration for an award.
