Renovation of a municipal facility in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. This project is funded 100% by CDBG funds and therefore subject to Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Law. The City of St. Joseph is and Equal Opportunity Employer. (s) Summer Deatherage Purchasing Agent Bid Option #1: Remove the knee wall, store front window and door assembly. Custom fabricate and install a new unit from the floor to the bottom of the transoms with dark bronze Tubelite storefront thermal broke metal with tempered 1" insulated glass units with clear/Low-E glass. The new window and door assembly shall mimic the existing configuration including the inverted recessed door. This option shall include a new glass door with clear/Low-E glass, 10" bottom rail, ADA compliant hardware including a pull, panic bar and closer. Caulk the exterior perimeter to match the color of the metal. Bid Option #2: Includes all work in Bid option #1 and removing the existing transoms and installing 7 new fixed transoms with Tubelite materials to match the storefront, with each window approximately 26 1/4 " wide x 40" high. Bid Option #3: Remove the 3 upper wood windows, make any framing repairs or modifications as necessary and install Tubelite Thermal style windows with operable project out awnings on the lower panels with screens and insulated Low-E tempered glass.
