Reference Number 0000335776 This work will consist of installing approximately 1,300 LF of 18-inch fully restrained ductile iron pipe by open trench and 335 LF of 18-inch fusible polyvinyl chloride pipe by slip lining through an existing 24-inch steel casing. Work also includes appurtenances including flexible expansion joints, valves, combination air valve, service connection, 12-inch pipe reconnection, cathodic bonding of all ductile iron pipe, water main abandonment, and surface restoration. The project also includes rehabilitating Turnout No. 1 located at 2722 Santa Rita Road. Work at Turnout No. 1 includes removing and installing new piping, valving, flow meter and spall repairs to the existing vault. A new 6-inch fire hydrant and piping will be installed adjacent to the vault. The Engineer,"s cost estimate for the project is $1.55 million.
