Site work for a water / sewer project in Smyrna, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Smyrna is requesting Sealed Bids for a unit-price contract for the installation of approximately 10,800 linear feet of new 6-inch PVC, 8-inch PVC, and 10-inch PVC water main. Reconnections of to the existing water mains, service laterals, and fire hydrants are proposed. The existing water main is to be abandoned in place. All Bidders must comply with and provide proof of all local, county and state licensing requirements. This is a sealed bid and electronic bid submissions are not accepted. The City of Smyrna reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Quotations and award in the best interest of the City. All questions or requests for additional information must reference RFQ 24-020 and must be submitted in writing by 5:00 PM, Friday, January 5, 2024, Questions must be submitted to Melanie Brueggemann, Croy Engineering, via email at mhead@croyeng.com. All questions and answers will be issued in an addendum. No contact will be permitted between bidders and any other City staff members or elected officials, except through the Purchasing Department.
