The County intends to select a contractor to provide the addition of 6 lighted, fenced, pickleball courts with 2 shade structures. The project also includes sidewalks with ADA compliant pedestrian access, drinking fountain, landscaping & electrical service for lighting the pickleball courts. The County anticipates awarding a Construction Contract to run for the duration of the Project. Limerock Base - The work specified in this Section consists of the construction of a base course composed of limerock. Crushed Concrete Road Base - The work specified in this Section consists of the construction of a base course composed of crushed concrete. It shall be constructed on the prepared subgrade, in accordance with these specifications and in conformity with the lines, grades, notes and typical cross section shown in the plans. 3. Asphaltic Base Course - Asphaltic Base Courses included in the Work of this Contract shall be furnished and installed in accordance with the FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Structures, latest edition, and all Supplemental Specifications. Except where the Contract Documents include more stringent requirements or noted deviations, the applicable specification sections by reference shall have the same force and effect as if bound directly.
