Reference number : 1781051 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2023-11-27 Université du Québec à Montréal, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, having its registered office at 1430 Saint-Denis Street, H2X 3J8, Montreal, Quebec, is calling for tenders for the renovation of masonry facades and aluminum windows at the President Kennedy Pavilion (PK), located at 201 President-Kennedy Ave. in Montreal. Exterior work includes, but is not limited to: Replacement of sections of brick and limestone siding; Partial repointing of mortar joints and repairs of cracks in masonry siding; Repair of aluminum windows and curtain walls; Correction of aluminum mouldings; Replacement of aluminum siding; From one-off interventions to roofing systems; Repair of control joints in the masonry and sealant around the perimeter of openings; Cleaning of facades; Installation of temporary filters on louvers; Demolition, protection, solining, patching and other work necessary for the complete completion of the Structure. Interior Works include, but are not limited to: Internal mobilization and installation of temporary protections; Demolition and construction of interior supply sections; Interior painting and finishing joint work (caulking); Correction of deficiencies, demobilization and final cleaning. The work also involves all related work such as: development and cleaning of the site, temporary protection work, repairs and modifications to existing interior fittings, jointing work, repairs and required openings. The Contract also includes the recovery of certain existing equipment and its reinstallation. The Contractor shall assume that the users and occupants of the building will continue to operate during the work, in the spaces adjacent to the work zones as well as on the floors above and below. The Contractor shall act in such a way as to minimize the inconvenience to users and personnel. Similarly, the outdoor courtyard, access, etc., will also continue to be used throughout the duration of the work. The Contractor shall not, under any circumstances, prevent the free access of users to spaces other than those expressly designated for the execution of the work. The Contractor shall ensure that users have access to the premises and facilities in a safe, healthy and seamless environment. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
